Online Chess Training did not start with a big business plan. While teaching chess for years, I saw how hard it was for students to study openings, analyse their opponents and keep what they learned in an organised way.
In those same years, my son started playing in tournaments. Before facing a strong opponent, he asked me for help. Together we went through his opponent’s games, considered the likely openings and worked on which ideas he could use against mistakes. The next day, a beautiful game came out of it.
This small piece of work showed me something: most of the time, the knowledge we needed was already in our hands. What was missing was a simple tool that makes that knowledge understandable and usable for a child, a student or a coach.
And so the work that began as a way to help my son and my students gradually grew into a platform where academies can preserve their experience too. The goal is not to build the biggest or most complex software. It is to create a modest helper that makes learners feel they are not alone, protects the effort of teachers and carries knowledge on to future generations.
Because chess is hard enough already. The tools that help you learn it don’t need to be more complicated.
